100 No’s Challenge

Five days.
100 asks.
Yes! Yes! Yes!

October 19–23, 2026 | $100
What would you ask for if you were willing to hear no?
Maybe it’s a client, an introduction, a speaking opportunity, a new role, support with a project, or a conversation you keep putting off.
For five days, we’re going to stop deciding what other people will say before we ask them.
We’ll make 20 asks a day (100 in total!) and see what becomes possible.
The goal isn’t to collect 100 rejections. It’s to become willing to hear no, make meaningful asks, and keep going. There may be yes’s you never expected!
We’ll do it together
We’ll meet on Zoom each morning at 9:30 a.m. Central, Monday through Friday. You’ll get a daily email to help you make your 20 asks.
We’ll celebrate the conversations and opportunities that open up. You’ll get coaching on how to handle rejection, disappointment, and the vulnerability hangover that can come after putting yourself out there.

What Could You Ask For?

An ask is a clear request to a real person.. It can be big or small, and designed to move something you want forward.

A Client or Opportunity
Pitch your service, make an offer, propose a collaboration, or ask for a meeting with someone you’d like to work with.

A Chance to Speak
Pitch a podcast, propose a talk, ask to be considered for an event, or put yourself forward to lead a conversation.

A Next Step at Work
Ask about a new role, a promotion, a project you want to lead, or the resources you need to do your job well.

An Introduction
Ask someone to connect you with a person, organization, or community you’d like to know.

A Conversation You’ve Been Avoiding
Ask a question, express a need, or start a conversation that matters to you.

The point is to practise making asks that mean something to you.

Why I Started the 100 No’s Challenge

When I launched my business in 2018, I was fed up with myself.
I was the classic perfectionist: overthinking, over-planning, and stuck, stuck, stuck.
I dreamed of helping clients achieve their goals, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to help anyone if I couldn’t get over myself. And especially get over my fear of selling.
You know what I’m talking about: imposter syndrome, fear of being judged, rejected, ridiculed.
Oh I had it all.
But thankfully a very wise coach suggested that I get out there and make enough offers to hear 100 no’s. She asked me a simple question:
Is what you want worth getting 100 No’s?
Yes! Yes! Yes!
So I got to work. I made asks and became willing to hear no. Some asks opened doors. Some didn’t. But I discovered that I could handle the answer and make another ask.
It helped me move past the procrastination that came with self doubt, and that everything I want is on the other side of being willing to feel a really challenging feeling.
Recently, I heard about someone pursuing 1,000 No’s. It reminded me how much that first challenge had taught me, so I decided to do it again. 100 though, not 1000!
My 100 No’s Challenge was launched.
I pitched ideas, made offers, asked for introductions, and put myself forward for opportunities.
It worked.
I created clients, speaking opportunities, and new relationships by making asks I might otherwise have kept to myself.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Putting myself out there still brings up fear, disappointment, and vulnerability. But I’ve learned that I can feel those things and keep going. It’s the idea at the heart of my TEDx talk: “The point is not to feel good. It’s to get good at feeling.”
Now I want to lead you through your own five days of asking, so you can find out what becomes possible when fear of no stops making your decisions for you.
Let’s get to your Yes! Yes! Yes!

What if I don’t make all 20 asks in a day?

Not a problem!
This challenge is designed to help you move through perfectionism, overthinking, and feeling stuck.
You don’t have to “do it right” to get results.
Even if you only make one ask, you do the work of deciding what you want, who to ask, how to ask and how to follow through.
And most importantly you are learning how to manage your thoughts and emotions that come up.
This is the skill.
This is the muscle you are building.
The 100 asks give you a goal to work toward, but every ask moves you forward.

What You’ll Walk Away With

More Clarity About What You Want
Making asks helps you get specific about the opportunities, changes, and conversations you actually want.
Asks You’ve Finally Made
Pitches sent. Offers made. Conversations started. Ideas put forward instead of kept to yourself.
More Possibilities for Yes
Every meaningful ask gives someone the chance to respond. You may be surprised by the opportunities that open up.
Stronger Relationships
An ask can begin a conversation, lead to an introduction, or help someone understand what matters to you.
Practice Handling No
You’ll learn what disappointment and vulnerability feel like without letting them end the conversation or stop your next ask.
Momentum You Can Keep
You’ll leave with experience making asks, following through, and deciding what to do next.

Ready to see what happens when you ask?
